District 2, and Thao Dien is a great area to look for a house in Saigon. With numerous trendy cafes and restaurants, a large expat community and an increasing choice of shopping options. Once a small village with a few villas for rent, district 2 has changed a lot the past 10 years. It now has a mix feel of established neighborhood while keeping a peaceful atmosphere.
