Phu My Hung ( or Saigon South if you prefer) is a residential area. Its population consists mainly of asian expats although more and more westerners move there. The quality of the infrastructure is very good. With large and clean roads, you will be confident driving around and walking in the streets. Moreover, Saigon South is really the place where you will feel you can breathe. This new city offers many more green spaces, parks and walking areas than downtown.
Places to shop and to go out. Most habitants who were reluctant to go to the city can now find , convenience stores and restaurants in Phu My Hung. A big shopping mall is about to open, the Paragon building. There are also a few supermarkets (Coopmart, Fivimart, Citimart, Shop&Go, Speedy,..) where you will find enough choice to make your family happy. Leisure activities you can try to hit the ball at the golf, relaxing at the big public swimming pool, ride bicycles, play tennis… Concerning nightlife entertainments, your only choice will be to go to the city as most bars will be closed by 11 pm.
