Well,
I'm just out Pho24, a pho chain restaurant and it's not what I expected from a place with a worldwide reputation.
The main point of a good pho is the broth : it must be light - in colour - and tasty with aromas of beef (if not pho ga or pho tom), burnt ginger and onion, cilandro, badian, cinamon, etc..., not too salted or sweet.
After a pho dac biet there (48.000 D.), I can say that Pho 24 hasn't good pho broth. Which is a problem for a pho restaurant chain.
So passing your way and having it in a stall around will surely be a better choice. |
