| I had a similar experience with Decosy in Phnom Penh. I went in to ask about special ordering an item. I needed to talk to the owner, who was right outside talking to some friends, according to the sales girl. She said that I would have to wait until he was finished talking and would not give me any idea when that might be. They either don't care about selling anything or they are ignorant of customer service etiquette. |
| Embarrassingly Bad Service |

We stopped by the store twice to look at a table.
Then, when home we decided to buy it. I called and the woman remembered me, she gave a price minus 3%, but then used an exchange rate which more than made up for her loss. She also insisted on charging me close to 4 dollars for delivery. Come On! Over 700 USD for a table and I get charge 3 something to get it delivered.
In the end it was not delivered because we didn't leave a deposit. So my wife had to go there a day or two later. She called to see when the store closed, they told her 6:30. She was there at 6:00 and it was closed already. She called the manager, but they were at home and not interested in reopening.
So my wife tried the next day and not only bought the table, but a TV stand too. They were late delivering it, and they overcharged her 3 dollars on delivery. What's 3 dollars when you spend 800? Nothing, but it's the thought that counts, so we complained and they send someone back to give us the 3 bucks.
In the end, it's not worth the hassle. Even for Vietnam the service is terrible. I would prefer to believe that they were just really, really attached to the table and didn't want to sell it. Otherwise, they are just real bad at what they do.
Now that we have the table, we will not shop there ever again and won't recommend it to anyone either. Hence this review.
