| Questionable Teacher Qualification |

| Even though Kinderworld has been opening several centers around the city, the quality of the services offered is questionable at best. I visited their centers and talked to many parents just to learn that teachers are not properly certified. Most of them choose to stay for only a few months and essentially act as overpaid babysitters rather than educators to the children. One of my friends said that their toddler had gone multiple teachers in one year. While this level of service (or disservice) may be acceptable for Vietnam's public education system, it leaves much to be desired for a place that charges $6,000 in tuition fees. As a Hanoian parent, my child's education is my top priority. This becomes a challenge given the city's limited private school options. Nevertheless, Kinderworld is certainly not the right place for my toddler based on my visits and discussions w/other parents. |
