For sure, Vietnam fascinates. This country often evokes in Westerner's mind a brave and warm people, beautiful landscapes, a strong culture…
Nevertheless, till now, few of them had an interest for Vietnamese music.
Vietnamese artists abroad hardly reached an audience going farther than the local Vietnamese community. This also seems to concerns young generation of Vietnamese living abroad and having only very few occasion to meet their culture of origin.
But some artists are likely to seduce an audience far beyond the Vietnamese borders.

Welcome to Vietnam's Ocean City. Nha Trang has a full-time population that stands at about 200,000 people, but it far exceeds that with the heavy local and international tourist influx, especially in the summer months. It's a fine place to spend 3-4 days surfing, snorkeling and diving, or taking a cruise to the nearby islands. It is also a pleasant spot for nightlife. I am thinking about the famous Sailing Club: A very well known club and restaurant right on the beach. |

Vung Tau has this big advantage to be just an hour from Saigon (if you take the speed boat on Ton Duc Tang avenue). This seaside resort has a few nice places where you can really enjoy a peaceful and nice week end. The water and the beaches are not terribly clean, but the town with its fishing fleet and outdoor restaurants is colorful and relaxing. The city has a lot of cafes, bath houses, hotels, hostess bars, karaoke lounges, beach-side kiosks and oil rigs. it also offers scuba-diving, snorkeling and golf. But you must absolutely see its resorts: You can go to Anoasis Beach and Binh An Resorts. They are the 2 best ones in the area.

Dunes and Beaches in Mui Ne - Phan Thiet
For those who dream of white sand, Mui Ne, located near Phan Thiet (22 Km), has nothing to envy to Nha Trang. Beaches are beautiful and present an outstanding dune landscape. While you are rambling you may have the feeling in some places to be in the middle of a desert. Many luxurious resorts have been build during these last past 5 years.

Trekking in Sapa
Sapa is a beautiful mountain village (elevation 1650m) located at 380 Km from Hanoi.
Trekking there is especially interesting for landscapes are sumptuous: The gray of the mountain and the fog beautifully contrast with the green rice terrace fields and the colors from the local people traditional dress. Climate is fresh and humid, be well prepared!
