Masako and Mio from Japan |

Mio came here 5 years ago as backpacker and came back 3 years later to take a job in Saigon in a Japanese travel agency. She thought that it would be a great opportunity to experiment a very different life style. Masako has a different story; she was offered the opportunity to work in Vietnam as fashion designer. She found interesting to get closer to the local producer, learning more about the country's specific techniques.
Both share the same point of view about living in Vietnam. They enjoy it because they can have more time for themselves. It takes them only a few minutes to go to their office riding their motorcycle in Saigon whereas they would have spent hours in Tokyo in the commuter train. And besides that, it's cheaper to live here rather than in Tokyo. They also can eat in one of the numerous Japanese restaurants whenever they just feel like it.
